Manmadhan Ambu which got a U certificate is to be released worldwide on 23rd of this month. Kamal Haasan, Madhavan, Ramesh Aravind , Trisha and Sangeetha are in the cast. The film which is being produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin has been directed by K S Ravikumar.

Ravikumar while speaking to the media said,” Since I am joining hands with Kamal Haasan once again, many are telling this film will be like Tenali or Panchathanthiram. This film is a romantic comedy one. Just imagine about this ship in which we have shot the major portions.

There are three swimming pools and there are 18 floors. Apart from this there is an auditorium which can accommodate 5000 people. It took one and half a day to go around this luxury cruise liner. Wherever this liner stopped we got down and shot the song sequence in that country. All the songs have been written by Kamal Haasan himself. I am a great fan of his poems right from the time I know him. I want him to compile all his poems and release it in a book form.”
