Leading actresses like Nayanthara, Asin and Trisha sidelined in Kollywood

Debutant actresses have started ruling Tamil cinema. Popular leading heroines are being sidelined. The so called number one actresses like Nayanthara, Trisha and Asin’s fate is in very sad condition.

There are no new Tamil films for them. Nayanthara had acted in the film Boss Engira Bhaskaran. After this she was not approached by the producers and directors because of marriage matter with Prabhu Deva.
Kaavalan which had Asin in the female lead role was released before the elections. She has no other Tamil films in her hand. After Mankatha, Trisha has no other Tamil films in her hands. This film is getting ready for release. Thamanna who had paired with all the leading actors has no films after Vengai. The reason for these actresses to be sidelined is because these heroines demand excessive salary and the heroes also want to pair with new faces. Offers are heaped on the new heroines like Tapsee, Hansika and Anushka. Tapsee debuted through the film Aadukalam and now she is pairing with Jeeva in Vandhan Vendran.

Hansika was introduced through the film Mappillai. She also acted in the film Engeyum Kadhal and now she is pairing with Vijay in Velayudham and with Udhayanidhi Stalin in the film Oru Kal Oru Kannadi.
Anushka had acted in Arundhathi, Singam and Vaanam. Now she has paired with Vikram in Deiva Thirumagal. Now Deepika Padukone is pairing with Rajni in Raana and similarly Sonakshi Sinha is pairing with Kamal. Telugu actress Deeksha Seth is paiinrg with Vikram in Raja Pattai.
