J Ravi is producing a film titled Maharaja under the banner Jayaram Creations. ‘Valluvan Vasuki’ Sathya is donning the lead role and Anjali is pairing with him. Nasar is another hero of this film. ‘Samurai’ Anitha, M S Viswanathan, Karunas and Kovai Sarala are also acting in this film. T Manoharan who has written the screenplay is also directing this film. He had earlier worked as an assistant to Arjun and Parameswar.

Nasar while speaking about this film said,” We listen to so many stories. But in only some films we have the inclination and interest to act in it. Maharaja is such kind of film. I have avoided many other films to act in this film. This film is about the cold war between the older generation and present generations because of a particular problem.

This film will make both the generations happier. This film will have stronger messages with commercial ingredients. I have donned the role of a person who dreams that he is a young person in spite of being old. This role will be an important one in my career.
